This kit features the following features: Laser cut wooden frame. She is double planked on frame. The hull is made of lime wood and walnut strips. The decks are planked in tanganyka. The hull and deck fittings are made of brass, walnut, boxwood and beech woods. The mast and yard arms are made of Ramin. Cannons are turned brass barrels and carriages are made of walnut. Rigging blocks are made of beechwood, various thickness of cord to build either a standing or running rigging. Full set of plans

De Prins Willem was waarschijnlijk het grootste schip met vierkante achtersteven van de Nederlandse Verenigde Oost-Indische Companie V.O.C.

Gebouwd in Middelburg in 1649-1650, Later werd de Prins Willem aangepast als Oorlogsschip.

Voor korte tijd was de Prins Willem het vlaggenschip van de beroemde Admiraal Witte de Witt. Later werd het schip teruggegeven aan de V.O.C., waarbij het weer handelde met Indië tussen 1653 tot 1660.
