Since 1970, the store has offered a wide selection of model-making supplies.
Electric trains, collector’s cars, plastic and wooden model kits, slots, RC Models, wood/plastic/metal profiles, foam board and any finishing product related to each universe.
Manager of Wavre Modélisme since 2012, I quickly learned the ropes of the profession.
And you know what? Passionate about trains since I’m a child, I am making my dream come true!

For many of today's adults, yesterday's children, an electric train was the expected gift at Saint Nicolas or any important event. Spend hours building your circuit, embellish it with buildings, scenery and finally see the train moving ahead.
Certainly, significant progress has been made by manufacturers to offer realistic and qualitative material.
Analog system has given way to digital, which offers significant new possibilities in the construction and management of a circuit. Previously, with analog, only one train could run on a section and in one direction. Digital allows multiple trains on a single track, running at different speeds and in opposite directions, stopping precisely while respecting a real slowdown... Digital has completely changed the concept of the game!"

I meet enthusiastic model makers who share their miniature hobby with me. Not a day goes by without learning a new tip or trick, they send me pictures of their achievements from all over the world. Breathtakingly realistic...
Model kits are more accessible to younger people and require smaller budgets. However, I believe that the younger generation should return to this type of leisure activity, which, like the train, requires creativity, an ability to read plans, a work methodology and a great deal of patience..., far from PlayStation or video games.
Wavre Modélisme also offers you display cases for your dioramas or others.
