Novelty 2022: Shape variant of the Rh 554 as series 49 of the SNCB in Era IV. The PIKO models of the Autorail Brossel leave an extremely likeable impression. The short wagons on four axles with equally short bogies are an eye-catcher on the model railroad. Especially the series 553 and 554, which differ considerably, have been a hard work for the PIKO designers - so different are the vehicles in detail.
It was worth it: The model is convincing in all aspects. The extremely finely engraved molds give the car body, car floor and bogies an excellent visual appearance, the elaborately applied details in the roof area look like the famous icing on the cake. The model is powered by a reliable PIKO motor, which is dimensioned to provide a clear view through the model´s many windows. Two axles of the model are powered, and the current is drawn from all four axles. The sound variant already has a suitable PluX22 sound decoder ex works.
